Our Beliefs

We believe the Old and New Testaments are the only inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, serving as the supreme and authoritative foundation for all matters of faith and conduct.

We believe in one eternal God, existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As the Creator and Sustainer of all things visible and invisible, He is the only true and holy God – transcendent yet deeply personal, and the infinite source of unmatched love.

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life. He provided atonement for our sins through His vicarious death on the Cross and was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit. He has since ascended to the right hand of God the Father, where he ever lives to intercede for us. We also believe in His personal, visible return to the world in power and glory, according to His promise.

We believe that after Jesus ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world - a calling shared by all believers in Christ today. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin for the purpose of salvation, setting believers apart, comforting, empowering, and eternally sealing those who trust in Jesus Christ.

At the moment of conversion, every Christian is immediately baptized (indwelt) by the Holy Spirit and becomes a member of the Body of Christ. We affirm the present, ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit, through whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a godly and effective life in this present fallen world.

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but chose to sin, resulting in spiritual and physical death (separation from God). Consequently, all people are sinners by nature and by choice. God, however, in His abundant grace, freely offers salvation, redemption, and forgiveness through our Lord Jesus Christ. When an individual repents and places their trust in Jesus as personal Savior and Lord, they are immediately born again, sealed by the Holy Spirit, their sins are forgiven, and they become a child of God, destined for eternity with Him.

The Church, in our belief, is the community of all true believers under the Lordship of Christ. Its purpose is fourfold:

• Worship: To give God the worship, honor, and praise He alone deserves.
• Edification: To strengthen believers to spiritual maturity.
• Equipping: To prepare each person for ministry in accordance with their spiritual gifts.
• Evangelism: To proclaim and demonstrate the Good News and transforming power of Christ to a spiritually needy world.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the sole head of the Church, His body, and that the local fellowship is to be governed by a plurality of elders, who are chosen for service based exclusively on biblical qualifications.

We affirm the profound spiritual unity and true fellowship of all believers in Christ, a unity rooted in His self-sacrificial (Agape) love, without which any claim to being Christian is invalid.

We hold that Christ has given His Church two ordinances to observe until His glorious return: the baptism of believers and the regular observance of the Lord's Supper. These acts are expressions of obedience and faith, demonstrating the believer's new life in Christ.

Finally, we anticipate the personal, bodily, and visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ to establish His eternal Kingdom, where He will reign in perfect righteousness, justice, and peace.
