First Impressions Team

About the Opportunity:
Our First Impressions Ministry provides an atmosphere of welcome each weekend so those who attend or visit MHC see Jesus more clearly. We have opportunities to serve on the Coffee Team, Welcome Center, Parking Lot Team, Usher Team and Greeting Team.
Requirements:
First Impressions team members help once a month, every other week or weekly.

Children's Ministry Team

About the opportunity:

The focus of Mission Kids is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Our children's ministry begins to lay a solid biblical foundation from birth through sixth grade. Our desire is for kids to know God, serve Him, and share their story with others.

We have opportunities to volunteer during all weekend services working in our Mission Kids program as a teacher of a small group of children or a teacher's helper. We also need Mission Kids Greeters and check-in volunteers.  We have special events throughout the year that will need lots of volunteer help.

Requirements:
The Children's Ministry team helps at our weekend services as well as at special events throughout the year.

Student Ministry Team

About the opportunity:
We have opportunities for you to invest in the life of a student (J-Hi/High School) through leading a small group, helping out at our gathering times and at our various special events throughout the year.
Requirements:
The Student Ministry team help on various days of the week either on a weekly or monthly basis.

Adult Ministry Team

About the opportunity:
In each group, whether it's a small group on a week night in a home or a Bible study group of men or women meeting on campus, our goal is that everyone has the opportunity to be prayed for and to pray for others, to be cared for and to care for others, and to join together for a community-focused cause. Spiritual growth is far more enjoyable and effective when done with a group of people who know you and care about you. We have opportunities for volunteers to lead groups, help with administrative needs and hospitality.
Requirements:
People who help in our Adult Minstries serve weekly from September through June.

Disability Ministry Team

About the opportunity:

Our Disability Ministry reaches out to the local disabled community with Christ’s love.  With the love of Christ, we enable our participants to share Jesus with others and become a fruitful part of our church and our society.

Volunteer:

  • Kingdom Builders for disabled adults on Sunday mornings at 9:30am

Worship Team

About the opportunity:
2,000 years ago Jesus told a woman from Samaria that God seeks worshipers who “worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:23). God’s not hiding; He’s searching for people to worship Him deeply and authentically. Our worship ministry selects songs, musical styles, visual media and décor specifically to create a naturally worshipful and relevant atmosphere. On our team, volunteer musicians and audio/visual technicians use and develop their talents for God’s pleasure. If you are an instrumentalist or vocalist and would like to serve with our team, or a technically inclined individual who would like to be trained to operate lights, audio or video, we have a place for you.
