I gave my life to Christ a week after my 16th birthday when my best friend's mom asked to take me to church. She knew I was at a very low point in my life and taking me that Sunday saved my life and my soul. God transformed me in many very tangible and amazing ways, for which I will always be grateful. I attended Southern California College (aka Vanguard University) where I got a degree in Sociology and also met the people who set my now husband and me up on a blind date. Brad and I have been married since 1989 and have two grown children Elliott and Lauren, who we love spending time with whether vacationing together or just hanging out. I also enjoy playing with our very large and spoiled dogs Samson and Wrigley, reading, hiking, bird watching and having coffee with friends. I've been blessed to have had two very different careers, one in the non-profit sector and the other at Fidelity Investments where I retired after 17 years when God began stirring in my heart to enter full time ministry. We've attended Mission Hills Church since 2019 and I'm thrilled that God's timing, prompting, and open doors led me into full time ministry here at MHC. I am excited about local outreach because everyone, no matter their background or story, either has struggled, is hurting, or will suffer in some way, and I’m passionate about helping everyone come to know how much they are loved by God, and I want to help grow our vision for sharing the love of Christ with our community.
