I was raised in an amazing Christian home here in Mission Viejo not far from Mission Hills Church. Despite outstanding modeling by my parents, I didn’t commit my life to Christ until I was 17. At that time, I turned from a life of self-serving and trouble, to desiring to help others as a Firefighter. I have a bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration and have had the privilege to work in the fire service for the past 27 years. In the fire department I’ve worked as a Firefighter, Paramedic, Fire captain, Arson Investigator and my current position as a Battalion Chief. During those same years in the fire department, I also served in a variety of positions and have ministered as a Sunday School Teacher, College Leader, Church Elder, Camp and Conference speaker, Faith Based Non-profit Founder, Firefighters for Christ Chapter President, and Christian School Board Trustee. My wife, Dawnell, and I are raising two young men, ages 12 and 15 and live here in Mission Viejo. I have a passion for seeing men and women commit their lives to Christ and live passionately for his coming kingdom.
