Jake Saenz

I was born, raised, and currently live in Orange County. Throughout my life, I have always loved being around church and asking questions about the Bible. I have served in different ministry capacities over the years and felt called to vocational ministry when I was in high school. After high school, I went to Hope International University where I earned a degree in Biblical Studies. HIU is also where I met my wife and best friend, Jess. While working as a youth pastor I was called back to higher education and received my masters degree in Bible & Theology from Lincoln Christian University. My favorite part of ministry is watching students have their “aha” moment where they understand the love of Jesus and make the decision to commit their lives to God. I am passionate about discipleship and facilitating meaningful relationships in the church. I believe it is important to not only minister to students but to their family as a whole, regardless of their faith journey or background. My wife and I are blessed to have our son, Jett and we love getting to see the world through his eyes. In my spare time I love reading, surfing, and camping!
