Cathy Alvarado

Hello, I was born and raised in Southern California.  I'm married to my wonderful husband, Juan, and we have been blessed with four beautiful children, Brittani, Alex, Rebecca and Jacob.  We also have one son-in-law, Kayvon, who is married to my daughter, Brittani.  I enjoy reading, cooking, spending quality time with my family, camping, hiking, snowboarding in the mountains and spending time at the beach.

The Lord has been a primary part of my life since the age of 10.  I have grown and followed the Lord through the years as my Savior, Protector, Father and so much more.  With my bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and a concentration in human development along with my teaching credentials, I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd and 3rd grades for ten years and have worked in children's ministries for several years.  I am excited and feel blessed to serve the children and families here at Mission Hills Church.
