WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT?
The Freedom in Christ Discipleship Class is an 11-week journey designed to help you experience the freedom Jesus has already secured for you. Together, we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about your identity in Christ, renewing your mind with God’s truth, overcoming spiritual strongholds, extending forgiveness, breaking free from the influence of your past, and developing lifelong habits of spiritual growth.
This is more than a Bible study—it’s an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Christ and establish practical rhythms that foster lasting spiritual maturity. Throughout the class, you’ll learn how to live confidently in the freedom and victory that belong to every Christian.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Each Sunday, we’ll gather for engaging biblical teaching and meaningful discussion as we walk through the Freedom in Christ curriculum together. Topics include:

Your identity in Christ

Choosing to believe God’s truth

Spiritual warfare and the battle for your mind

Handling emotions in a healthy, biblical way

Forgiveness and freedom from the past

Renewing your mind

Growing as a lifelong disciple of Jesus
One of the most significant moments of the course is the “Steps to Freedom in Christ” experience—a dedicated Saturday session designed to help you personally apply the truths you’ve been learning. Many participants consider this to be the most impactful part of the course.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME?
Because each week’s discussion builds on the previous one, participants are asked to make this class a priority.
Before registering, please be prepared to:

Attend consistently. Participants may miss no more than two sessions during the course.

Complete the assigned reading before each class. Weekly preparation is essential and allows everyone to participate fully in discussion.

Commit to the Saturday “Steps to Freedom in Christ” session. This extended session is a required and foundational part of the course.

Come with a teachable heart. The greatest benefit comes to those who are willing to engage Scripture honestly, participate in discussion, and apply what they are learning throughout the week.
