2026 Fall Life Groups

Life Groups exist to nurture spiritual growth among the faith family of Mission Hills Church. Through studying the Bible, engaging in prayer, and processing truth and doubts with one another, Life Groups strive to deepen our understanding of God’s Word, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and grow in our faith.

Life Groups also emphasize the importance of developing authentic, Christ-centered friendships and accountability within the faith family at Mission Hills Church. By creating a space where trust is nurtured, we seek to promote open communication, provide mutual support, and encourage one another to live rooted in Jesus beyond the Sunday experience.

What can I expect?

Life Groups meet weekly in homes throughout South Orange County for approximately 1½–2 hours. Each gathering typically includes time to connect, pray for one another, and discuss the previous Sunday’s sermon using guided discussion questions. While every group has its own personality, our desire is that every Life Group would be a place where people are known, cared for, challenged by God’s Word, and encouraged to follow Jesus together.

How are groups organized?

If you’re joining a Life Group for the first time at Mission Hills, you’ll sign up for the night of the week that best fits your schedule (for example: Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings). From there, we’ll place you in a group that meets on that night and is reasonably close to where you live.

Our Life Groups are intentionally mixed groups rather than being organized around age, life stage, or marital status. We believe the church is healthiest when believers of different generations, backgrounds, and seasons of life gather together to encourage one another and grow in Christ.

What is expected of me?

Life Groups thrive when everyone participates. We simply ask that you:

• Attend consistently and make your group a priority.
• Come prepared to engage in the discussion.
• Pray for and encourage the members of your group throughout the week.
• Help cultivate an environment of grace, honesty, and confidentiality where people can grow together in Christ.
