I have called Mission Hills Church my home since 2008 and what a blessing it has been to be part of such a wonderful body of believers.
In 1981 I gave my life to Christ and as he promised, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; The old things have passed away; behold new things have come.” (2Cor. 5:17) He took a young girl whose life was torn apart by divorce, chaos, and instability and breathed new life into her.
A year later, I met my husband Steve, at Sierra Madre Congregational Church and we married in 1985. God was restoring the years the locusts had taken by giving me the gift of being part of a big, loving, Christian family.
God has blessed us with three terrific sons, who are finding their place in the world and bring much joy to our lives as young adults!
When I am not here at my desk, I enjoy walking my dog on local trails, cycling, cooking for my family, and binge-watching Netflix shows.
“Life is a journey, enjoy the ride” is my motto. Whether I am cruising with the wind at my back or pushing my way up a steep hill, life is an adventure and God is my guide.
