There are people in our church family that could use some help. They may be widows, single mothers, families affected by job loss or illness or a myriad of things. Helping Hands meets the third Saturday of every month and sends teams of four men to each home to try to meet the felt needs in our congregation. Each team goes to the same house, month after month, with the love of Christ in obedience to Jesus' command in John 15:12. "This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you." All of the teams meet together at 7:30am for donuts and coffee. Then the teams are at their respective homes from 8:00am - 10:00am. It is only a three-hour commitment once a month but is already making a large impact on both the men that are serving and the families being served.
